Refund Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Purpose
This Refund Policy explains when customers may be eligible for refunds from or through Rocketours International Limited. Refund entitlement depends on the service purchased, the reason for the refund, applicable supplier conditions and Nigerian consumer protection law.
2. Flight Refunds
Flight refunds depend on the fare conditions attached to the ticket purchased. A fare may be refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable. Where a customer voluntarily cancels a flight, any refund will be calculated using applicable airline or supplier fare rules and lawful cancellation charges.
Where an airline cancels a flight or otherwise fails to provide the booked service, refund and alternative travel rights will be handled according to applicable law and the airline or supplier's obligations. Rocketours will assist customers with eligible refund requests processed through our booking system.
3. Service, Tour and Visa Refunds
Where a separately disclosed Rocketours service, booking, consultation or processing fee relates to work already performed, the fee may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Any non-refundable fee will be disclosed before payment.
Tour refund eligibility depends on the cancellation date, published conditions, amounts paid to suppliers, supplier cancellation charges, costs reasonably incurred by Rocketours, whether services can be resold or cancelled, and applicable law. Recoverable amounts remaining after lawful and reasonable deductions will be refunded.
Rocketours' visa assistance fee covers processing and support work, not a successful visa outcome. Once substantive processing has begun, Rocketours may deduct a reasonable amount for services performed and costs incurred. Government, embassy, visa centre or third-party charges already incurred may be non-recoverable. A visa refusal does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund of services properly performed.
4. Insurance and Institutional Bookings
Travel insurance refunds are governed primarily by the relevant insurer's policy terms and applicable law. Rocketours will assist with communicating with the insurer where appropriate. Corporate, school and institutional clients may have specific refund provisions in their individual agreements, which govern to the extent permitted by law.
5. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have been charged twice or an incorrect amount has been collected, contact support@rocketours.com with your name, booking reference and evidence of the transaction. Verified duplicate or erroneous payments will be investigated and corrected.
6. Method and Timing
Where practicable, approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. Where that is not possible, Rocketours may request verified bank account information or arrange another appropriate method.
Rocketours will initiate or facilitate approved refunds without unreasonable delay. The time before funds appear may depend on airlines, suppliers, payment processors and banks. Where a refund depends on funds being returned by a third-party supplier, Rocketours will keep the customer reasonably informed.
7. How to Request a Refund
Send a request to support@rocketours.com, including your full name, booking reference, service purchased, reason for the request and relevant supporting documents. Nothing in this policy limits any refund right available under applicable Nigerian law.
